Second prize in the competition for the new complex of the Academy of Music in Krakow

We received the 2nd prize in the competition for the new complex of the Academy of Music in Krakow! The proposed complex of buildings and pavilions, integrated into the area of the Grzegórzecki Park, opens through the courtyards to the surrounding greenery. Pavilions with educational functions are located on the side of the park, facilities with functions that do not require viewing openings - e.g. the main concert halls are located on the eastern side. The entire complex is connected by a connector on the north / south axis, running from the entrance square area towards the area of the Courland Boulevard. The new building of the Academy, together with the planned neighboring investments and the park, forms a coherent whole in terms of urban planning and program: the musical part of the city / music park.
